Happy International Women's Day! International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8th every year to honor and recognize the achievements and contributions of women worldwide. In the El Paso Police Department (EPPD), 171 women currently serve as officers out of a total force of about 1100 police officers. This highlights the progress of women in traditionally male-dominated fields, showing the increasing role of women in law enforcement and their valuable contributions to public safety.
