Munster take on Glasgow this evening in the latest round of the URC. Kick-off is scheduled for 5.15pm at Thomond Park. RTE 2 will be showing the game live.

Munster living dangerously. Nice play from Carbery and Crowley in that buildup. On that scrum, Kilcoyne is penalised and Glasgow go to the corner. Great work from Jamie Dobie and Sione Vailanu gets over the whitewash. Surely game over now. Stafford McDowall got the visitors their second try of the game fighting off Joey Carbery and Calvin Nash to touch the ball down.

Frisch an injury worry for Munster (Limerick Post)

ANTOINE Frisch has been ruled out of this evening's crucial URC outing with Glasgow Warriors at Thomond Park.

In the replacements, Scott Buckley, Stephen Archer, Craig Casey, Rory Scannell and Simon Zebo join the squad with RG Snyman set for his second appearance of the season. Kilcoyne, Diarmuid Barron and Roman Salanoa pack down in the front row with Jean Kleyn and Fineen Wycherley combining for the fourth game in-a-row in the engine room. A new centre partnership sees Crowley and Malakai Fekitoa team up in midfield for the first time with Paddy Patterson and Joey Carbery in the half-backs for the fourth successive game.

With just two minutes remaining it was too little too late on a sobering evening for Rowntree’s men. Munster, with a rocket from head coach Rowntree ringing in their ears, and with a change at loosehead prop as Josh Wycherley replaced under-pressure Dave Kilcoyne. The crowd finally found its voice, Malakai Fekitoa was suddenly busting the gainline and replacement scrum-half Craig Casey was able to inject some tempo so essential to the way Munster go about their business. That was just the beginning as Glasgow opened a 28-0 half-time lead. That both those rounds are in South Africa at the end of April make the task even harder while this home defeat comes in advance of a challenging Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 trip to Durban to play a Springbok-loaded Cell C Sharks team next Saturday.
