“The senior clubs are well on their road, we have a lot of very good senior and intermediate clubs in Galway,” Divilly remarks. Of the five clubs we've gone to so far, we have coached some underage teams, some of the junior teams were getting ready to play league games, we have offered to come back out again to do a session, they are all delighted with that. At the end of 2022 the Galway players and management worked closely with the coaching and games department in the county, illustrating what can be achieved. “Now we can see from being on the ground, that there is so much work being done in junior clubs around Galway. “That just gives a lot of energy to a community and parishes around Galway. You have about 11 or 12 out and out junior clubs in Galway, we are trying to get to all of them.
