The Met Office has issued another yellow warning for snow and ice for most parts of the country along with warnings for wind across the south.

The public are also being warned to expect longer journey times on public transport, including buses and trains, as a result of the weather conditions. It comes just days after parts of the region were covered in a blanket of snow. A Met Office spokesman said: "Spells of snow are expected to develop Wednesday late afternoon and early evening, mainly in areas above 100 to 200m.
