Once O'Sullivan got a hold of him at the back of the last he had a very willing partner and they powered up the hill to win in a thrilling finish. That left the race in the lap of Chemical Energy who took the lead. He jumped the last a few lengths down but stayed in strongly to win cosy at the line.
