Kelly also joined PJ & Jim in studio and explained, “My folks haven’t met PJ in person yet and I guess they didn’t know too much about PJ so I was a little bit nervous, particularly to tell my dad that I was pregnant. So we’re actually having twins – we’re having two of them, a boy and a girl, holy fart.

The 47-year-old is expecting a baby girl and baby boy with his partner Kelly Doolin in late August.

“That is just not the case," he said. "In fact, it is the other way around. But my dad took the news well, thank God.” Revealing the news on the show, Gallagher said: “I came in one morning and I said, ‘Jim [Gallagher's co-host] you’re not going to believe it. So we’re actually having twins - we’re having two of them, a boy and a girl, holy fart. So that was very reassuring."
