Watch: โ‚ฌ24m TUS project at Coonagh to be completed by end of year (Limerick's Live 95)

The development was confirmed today at the launch of the TUS inaugural strategic review. The first phase of the Coonagh campus commenced last year.

The new campus will be home to a centre of excellence for engineering at the technological university. The twenty-four million euro TUS campus at Coonagh will be completed by the end of this year. The development was confirmed today at the launch of the TUS inaugural strategic review.

Residents angered by UHL staff parking in housing estates (Limerick's Live 95)

The shortage of staff car parking at University Hospital Limerick is impacting residents in the surrounding area.

In the long term, the capital plan for UHL includes a proposal for a multi-storey car park on the site, but such a proposal is subject to planning permission and funding. The above measures enable us to provide approximately 400 spaces across three car parks on the UHL site for patients and their loved ones. This system has created a net increase of approximately 100 staff car parking spaces on the UHL site and will be fully functional in the near future.
