Since Sean Dyche arrived and replaced Frank Lampard, all that Everton (21 points) have done is win two of three games and climb from 19th to 16th in the Premier League table. On the other hand, the Cherries have conceded just 28 in 19 games since Scott Parker was fired following the 9-0 defeat to Liverpool (and the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal, and the 4-0 defeat to Man City, in successive games). QUESTIONABLE: Jesse Lingard (knee), Serge Aurier (knock), Ryan Yates (illness) OUT: Maxwel Cornet (calf) Last weekend’s draw with Nottingham Forest was as shocking as it was painful for Manchester City (52 points – 2nd place), who remain two points back of leaders Arsenal having played one more game thus far. [a 3-0 defeat at Manchester United, but the Foxes were very good for large spells of that game](https://soccer.nbcsports.com/2023/02/19/manchester-united-vs-leicester-video-highlights-reaction-analysis-recap/). Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest (25 points – 13th place) have lost just one of their last seven (3W-3D-1L) and hope to avoid the end-of-season relegation scrap altogether.

He went off after a collision with Zack Steffen but returned the next game having felt like he'd reinjured himself. Singing their hearts out in what has to be the quietest ground I've visited this season. Really assured display from Gabriel at the back too. Until then, they need to do their own job and secure the three points against Leicester. The Gunners will be hoping another Premier League relegation battler can do the business for them. Not too many standouts from Arsenal today but thought Leandro Trossard looked really good in the false nine.

Leicester City host Arsenal at the King Power Stadium on Saturday as the Gunners aim to remain top of the Premier League table.

With Sadio Mane looking to be on his way out and question marks over the future of Mohamed Salah, Klopp may need to strengthen this attack this summer. The Senegal star is inching closer to his move to Bayern Munich as he is in Bavaria for his medical. Per the report, Liverpool will pay Benfica a guaranteed $84 million and could pay up to another $21 million in add-ons. Liverpool don’t mess around once they identify a player they want to sign and Nunez ticks all of the boxes Jurgen Klopp wants from a striker. This is a surprising move by Liverpool but it slots in superbly with their recruitment model and Gakpo seems to be the kind of player who is ready to break out in a big way and score 20 plus goals a season in the Premier League. Takumi Minamino’s time at Anfield appears to be over after Liverpool and Monaco reportedly agreed a transfer fee for the 27-year-old Japan international. I have got more to learn and the time to do that. Yes, it’s a lot of money for Fernandez and they may pay a premium due to his displays at the World Cup. They haven’t been shy about splashing the cash on players needed in key areas of the pitch in the past (Virgil van Dijk and Alisson prove that) and Fernandez slots into that category as Liverpool’s midfield needs strengthening and his signing would allow them to be pretty settled for the next four to five years. It certainly looks like Klopp bet on a handful of mainstays to hold off Father Time for one more season and Father Time was like, “Nah.” And being asked about transfers by journalists might be annoying, but it sure isn’t the worst job on Earth, is it? He’s not on the same level as Barella in ball movement but he’s very good at creating shots and is a harder tackler and defensive presence than Barella. The Hammers looked like turning a corner following a win over Everton and back-to-back draws with Newcastle and Chelsea, before turning in another listless performance in a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham last weekend.

Join Daniel Gallan for goal updates and key match action from the Saturday games in the Premier League and beyond.

Arsenal have roared out of the gates and taken the lead. I don’t think there’s a vast conspiracy against my team BUT I do think Saka was fouled in the box. Barnes down the left plays a great low ball to the back post. Leicester 0-1 Arsenal: Arsenal are holding on here as Leicester, still with one shot at goal, have grown in the game and are now the better side. Declan Rice curls in a beauty as the game gets stretched. The last time they were in this position at this stage of the season they finished fourth. Fornals cuts back and shapes to shoot but instead he dinks a lovely ball to the far posts for Antonio to make it 4-0. [Premier League](https://www.theguardian.com/football/premierleague) title win Arsenal were the only team the Foxes didn’t beat – in fact the Gunners beat them home and away. Sheffield United 1-0 Watford: A 78th minute own goal from Ryan Porteous is the only score in this one. It’s what they deserve though as two second half goals from Villa consign the Toffees to the relegation zone. Danny Ings, in his first start for the Hammers, notched a brace with Declan Rice and Michail Antonio also getting on the scoresheet. Sean Dyche is the latest Everton manager to know what a home defeat feels like.

Gabriel Martinelli's early second-half goal was enough to earn all three points at the King Power Stadium.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall fired just wide from outside the box to serve a warning. It was our first shot on target of the afternoon. After a frustrating first half, we got the second period off to the perfect start. He had a bit more space to work in moments later, but this time his shot was well off target, as he aimed for the top corner. A wonderful Jorginho pass released Saka, but he was crowded out inside the box. We were straight on the front foot.

However, he's scored just once in 23 Premier League appearances this season, and has failed to find the net in his last three against us. This will be the third time Craig Pawson has handled one of our games this season, with all three coming away from home. Bukayo Saka has been involved in more shots following a ball carry than any other player in the Premier League this season (38 – 18 shots, 20 chances created). Pawson has once taken charge of this fixture, which was our 5-2 success at the King Power Stadium back in September 2015. The Foxes are winless in 18 Premier League games against teams starting the day top of the table (D2 L16) since a 1-0 win at Manchester United in January 1998. That halted their momentum though, as just a solitary draw arrived from their first five games after the restart to once again leave them in danger. That combination has seen Brendan Rodgers’ side win three of their last five in all competitions as they look to recover from a wretched start. Arteta: "They've been really consistent the past few weeks in the games they've played. That prompted Rodgers to dip into the January transfer market, with defenders Victor Kristiansen and Harry Soutar recruited alongside Tete in attack. I think we've shown that but, of course, you have to be mindful of the quality they have.

Leicester City vs Arsenal line-ups: Xhaka faces drop, Fabio Vieira's ... (Football.London)

football.london's Arsenal writers offer their assistance to Mikel Arteta over the starting line-up for the Premier League encounter against Leicester City ...

The only change I'd make from last week is Gabriel Martinelli in for Leandro Trossard after a really impressive cameo from the Brazilian at Villa Park. However, Granit Xhaka’s form has dipped and it could be an opportunity to see Fabio Vieira come in to help take advantage of a leaky Leicester defence. Matt Turner is sure to get chances again in the Nothing too drastic but certainly enough to keep players on their toes ahead of a very busy schedule. Below, they name their respective starting line-ups for the visitors to the King Power Stadium. Fabio Vieira picked up the ball deep on the right, and the midfielder threaded a perfect pass through the Leicester defence that fell into the path of Leandro Trossard. The Gunners raced into a four-goal lead with Nketiah, Odegaard and Saka all impressing. Nketiah grabbed his second of the afternoon in the 37th minute, with third-time lucky for the striker who flicked Martin Odegaard's corner on at the front post and into the roof of the net. Arteta used all five available subs in the second half, and one of them topped off a fantastic result with a sixth in added time. Saka then set up Eddie Nketiah for Arsenal's second, with the striker cooly turning past his marker before firing back across goal and into the corner of the net. The reverse fixture earlier this season ended 4-2 to the Gunners, With Gabriel Jesus scoring two and assisting two in an impressive performance.
