Gardai have confirmed that a man aged in his 20s has been arrested as officers appeal for witnesses to come forward in relation to the stabbing of a teenager in Swords last night. An Garda Siochana have confirmed to The Irish Mirror that a man aged in his early 20s has been arrested, while the scene was closed off for a technical examination last night. A man has been arrested in relation to the shocking stabbing of a young man, believed to be as young as 19, in Swords on Thursday night.

Teen critical after stabbing in Swords (FM104)

A teenager is fighting for life after an assault on the northside. This attack happened on Brookdale Avenue in Swords at around 7 o'clock last night.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the attack to come forward. The 19 year old man was subjected to what Gardai say was a 'serious assault'. He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
