Actors Emily Watson and Paul Mescal have said that filming 'God's Creatures' in rural Donegal contributed to the success of the shoot.
Of the interview, Mescal said: “My mum got a text that I should chat to TG4 on the red carpet. Then I did it and I realised that I was out of my depth very quickly. “We were up in Donegal in the middle of Covid, it’s definitely the most isolated I’ve been during a shoot. During this time, Mescal kindly lent a hand to fundraising efforts to repair a damaged footbridge in Carrick. It will be released in Irish cinemas on 24th March. It was a really intense experience.”
