Little Black Book, by The Network's Worth Your While creates six-part series of interviews with LFC legends past and present.
We meet a Malaysian fan who gets up at 3am to watch the Champions League matches, and who describes the Malay fanbase who gather at a bar to watch the game together, simulating being together at an actual game. Ian Rush, John Barnes, Sami Hyypiä, Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher, and Luis Garcia become the interviewers and some of the clubs most loyal fans from around the world become the interviewees, giving these off-field legends an experience they’ll remember forever - and a chance to tell their stories. In celebration of this commemorative year - and in continuation of Carlsberg’s ‘Forever Fans’ platform rolling out across the 30th anniversary season - ‘by The Network’ partners Worth Your While and Drive Studios have created a six-part series of interviews with LFC legends past and present, and fans.
The campaign features Ian Rush, John Barnes, Sami Hyypiä, Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher and Luis Garcia interviewing the club's top fans.
Because this platform is all about Carlsberg celebrating the fans, we decided to turn the tables on the standard interview format and have our Liverpool FC legends interview the fans instead. Lukas Lund, creative director at Worth Your While said: ”Most content series simply interview the celebrity or influencer. To continue celebrating the milestone, creative agency Worth Your While has developed a six-part short film series for the beer brand.
Ahead of Liverpool's Champions League last-16 meeting with Real Madrid, we take a look at five memorable Anfield encounters the Reds have enjoyed against ...
With talismanic attacking duo Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino sidelined through injury, Divock Origi stepped up to the mark and gave the Reds hope with a seventh-minute opener. One goal down from the away leg and faced with a classy, well-drilled opponent, Liverpool had it all do when the Yellow Submarine rocked up at Anfield. The next 45 minutes were played out in almost unbearable tension, as a Barça side featuring the likes of Rivaldo, Pep Guardiola and Marc Overmars chased a leveller. Club Brugge were beaten in the final as Liverpool went on to win their second UEFA Cup title. Gary McAllister nervelessly fired in from 12 yards to give Liverpool the lead and send the crowd into raptures. A total of 55,104 supporters packed into Anfield to witness Liverpool lock horns with Johan Cruyff and co – and an electric atmosphere hit fever pitch when Phil Thompson’s close-range finish shortly after half-time extended the Reds’ aggregate advantage.
