Celtic v Livingston - Team News, Kick Off Time, Where to Watch (thecelticstar.com)

Livingston are the visitors to Celtic Park this evening and are likely to provide competitive opposition under the lights for Ange Postecoglou's side ...

The match will also be shown live on Celtic TV for subscribers based outside of Britain and Ireland. The VAR Dark Arts operator is Colin Steven and he is assisted by Alan Mulvanny. Benjamin Siegrist had a little bit of a setback with a calf complaint and he won’t be available for tomorrow but everybody else got through the last game well.” Tony Ralston is still out but he is back with the group. Maybe that will change this evening but you have plenty of reason to be cynical when it comes to Hearts taking anything from theRangers. Celtic won the rearranged fixture 2-1 at December and on the previous visit to Paradise, David Martindale’s side secured a point in a goalless draw.

Celtic host Livingston this midweek as they look to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership even further.

I have said before, I’ve got admiration for all the coaches. “You can tell every game they are up for the contest. “I’ve got admiration for him. “There is always values here at the club in terms of dressing room togetherness and work ethic and when you put the quality of player we have got in there as well, it always helps. “In terms of the squad there is a lot of quality and strength in depth. They are well drilled and well disciplined, and that’s why they are in the position they are in the league.

Celtic vs Livingston LIVE – LIVE updates (Scottish Daily Record)

Livingston have earned a point at Parkhead in each of the last two seasons but can they shock the champions again?

He's a real handful coming off the bench or starting. Home supporters will be keen to catch a glimpse of new signing Oh who caught the eye off the bench in Sunday's convincing 2-0 win over Dundee United. While Kyogo Furuhashi leads a frontline alongside Daizen Maeda and Jota. [Ange Postecoglou](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/all-about/ange-postecoglou)'s champions are dominant, however, [Livingston](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/all-about/livingston-fc) have earned a point in Glasgow's east end in each of the last two seasons. He's a big, big player for Celtic. I think he's got to get himself going again. A fierce contest, that's for sure, but will Livingston be able to come up with a game plan to slow the champions down? They have also progressed to the fifth round of the Scottish Cup and the nine points from five Scottish Premiership games have ensured that they hold a two-point advantage in fourth spot. Aaron Mooy and Liel Abada drop to the bench with Matt O'Riley and Daizen Maeda coming into the side. It will be a midfield three of Matt O'Riley, Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate across the centre of the park. They will be hoping the South Korean can come off the bench and bag a goal. [Celtic](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/all-about/celtic-fc) have only lost once since being defeated by the Lions in September 2021 and have earned victory in 22 of their 24 games this season.

He has been integral to so much of the success which his boyhood heroes have enjoyed in recent years and looks set to be again in the coming months. The South Korean internationalist made his debut towards the end of the 2-0 triumph over Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday. But Oh came within inches of turning in a delivery from substitute Mooy tonight. He came on to make his first home appearance to a huge cheer with 16 minutes remaining tonight. Livingston are one of the most difficult teams to break down in the league. However, the West Lothian outfit had certainly had their moments in the East End of Glasgow over the years. The only surprise was Celtic failed to add more in a second-half they dominated. “The interested It was easy to understand why when the game kicked off. But the visitors didn’t offer enough going forward to merit another result. Not even new technology can deny the on-form predator. They had drawn 0-0 three times in the past four seasons.

Celtic stay nine clear after beating Livingston (BBC Sport)

Celtic maintain their nine-point lead in the Scottish Premiership after easily beating Livingston.

Alistair Johnston (Celtic) right footed shot from outside the box is blocked. Attempt blocked. - Away0 - Shots Livingston host Kilmarnock the previous day (15:00) looking to cement their top-six position. "Ange has his team playing some very, very nice football. "Second half, Livingston didn't really open up so it wasn't like we were going to get bags of chances. He is getting a response to that expectation once again. He had Jack Fitzwater for company, but bobbed and weaved towards the box before placing his 21st goal of the season into the net. There ended Livingston's threat and any hope of a revival. His persistence paid off and Celtic were off and running. That was rare.

Celtic march on and retain nine-point lead with dominant win over ... (The42)

Livingston, fourth in the table, went into the match unbeaten in six games but they were simply outclassed by a side who have lost only once in 24 league games ...

The second goal had an element of fortune, when Obileye’s attempted clearance from six yards following O’Riley’s cross into the box struck the face of Maeda and ended up in the net. However, the champions, with Matt O’Riley and Maeda in for Liel Abada and Aaron Mooy, should have taken the lead a minute or so later when Maeda reached the byline and fizzed it across goal but somehow Jota failed to make contact from almost on the goal line. However, he has been unable to put a dent in Celtic’s nine-point lead at the top of the table and belief and confidence in the east end of Glasgow appears unshakeable.

MIBBERY – 2/10 – One point for trying, one point for giving us a laugh. Exemplary manner in which to conduct ourselves at this stage of the season and in such henious climatic conditions. THE BUILDER – 6.5/10 – Feet, bhoy. NOTEBOOK – 6/10 – Yes, I will spin and prance. CALMAC – 6/10 – There will be blood; Nearly another face-off for Calmac – shouts heard in the bowels of the main stand for somebody to ‘Dig out a flaming Zorro mask!’ as he took a clattering; won a brave 50-50 but breath was held. LORD KATSUMOTO – 8/10 MOTM – If Daizen didn’t possess the same heavy touch as teenage me locked in a sauna with ’67 Raquel Welch, he’d be worth about as much as I’d pay for the latter scenario to come true. His goal was a Daizen goal if ever you saw one – can’t deliberately knock it in no matter the glaring opportunities, so obviously the universe will play pinball with his gub until the net bulges. GET CARTER – 6.5/10 – A rumble in the jungle? ROXIE – 6/10 – Big Joe with nothing to do, plays a ball with his club shoe…And then his poetry composition was interrupted by a Star Lord clanger and the action was on. CCV’s organisation and awareness kept the ship steady and his consistent presence in the right areas left them bereft of hope in advanced positions. He’d already announced his presence with some sharp links, and back on his game we get the added threat of a goal or two. Touch from his right onto his rapier left and a fizzing cracker lit up the dreich night.
