Quel désastre! - Johnny Sexton's French nightmare revisited 10 ... (Irish Mirror)

After seven years at Leinster where he won multiple league and European titles, the then 27-year-old joined Racing 92. Months of negotiations with the IRFU bore ...

A facial injury will rule Sexton out of a reunion with his old side at the Aviva Stadium this weekend. It probably came from the coach who is probably trying to look after himself a little bit. Over the course of his 18 month spell in the French capital, he clashed numerous times with teammates, coaches and the media. So much so, that head coach of Racing at the time Laurent Labit, publicly chastised Sexton for his failings as a teammate. Predictably, Sexton returned to Leinster in the summer of 2015. Joining the club off the back of the 2013 Lions Tour, he started 13 games in a row and by the time the Autumn Internationals rolled around, the fly-half was already burnt out and troubled by injuries. And when he got wind of Labit’s comments, Sexton offered this rebuttal: Perhaps it was an effort to create a winning culture. Always a tetchy character, Sexton even almost came to blows with a teammate on one occasion. Some teammate’s even reportedly referred to him as ‘The Zlatan Ibrahimovic of rugby,’ which really tells you all you need to know. Perhaps it was an attempt to improve standards. After seven years at Leinster where he won multiple league and European titles, the then 27-year-old joined Racing 92.

5 Juventus players Man Utd can target after latest scandal opens up ... (Irish Mirror)

Serie A giants Juventus are in line for a 15-point deduction, which could potentially see them miss out on Champions League football and leave some of their ...

The teenager has been capped by England at every age-group level up to under-20, where he has shared a pitch with Premier League talents such as Carney Chukwuemeka and Samuel Edozie. However, they're unlikely to be the only ones in for Locatelli if he becomes available. He left without making a first-team appearance, though, and has now begun to establish himself in Turin. If United want to bring in a player with Premier League experience, they need look no further than Szczesny. He chose Juve, though, and opened his Champions League account for the club last term before continuing to score goals in Serie A this term. Locatelli impressed for the Azzurri at Euro 2020, scoring twice in a group stage win against Switzerland. Loan signing [Wout Weghorst](https://www.irishmirror.ie/all-about/wout-weghorst) can be an able stopgap between now and the end of the season, but a bigger-ticket signing may well be the priority come the summer. A summer switch didn't materialise in the end, with United splashing out on Casemiro. Here, Mirror Football looks at five members of the current squad who United could be tempted to look at in the coming weeks and months. With a goal or assist every 141 minutes on average this term, the 22-year-old would come with plenty of pedigree. Another midfielder likely to be in high demand is Locatelli. If the Bianconeri fail in their appeal against the penalty, it could leave them down in mid-table and at risk of missing out on European qualification.

Shane Lowry stars in hilarious 'American Psycho' inspired golf advert (Irish Mirror)

Lowry and Tyrell Hatton appear alongside some of the most recognisable names on the DP World Tour.

For now though, his mind will be firmly focused on the day job and kicking off his 2023 with a win in Abu Dhabi. Thankfully however, that's where the similarities with Bateman and Hatton end. Lowry makes an appearance as the first person to claim they've a better marking than Hatton. In the movie, Bale, who plays Patrick Bateman, becomes more and more annoyed when he sees that his coworkers have more impressive business cards. But instead of business cards, it's personalised ball markings that infuriates Hatton. It's a very funny clip and one that involves some of the biggest names on the DP World Tour such as Robert MacIntyre and Tommy Fleetwood along with Lowry and Hatton.
