Manchester Arena bombing survivor wants to turn Coventry pink at ... (Coventry Live)

Harry Styles will be performing at the Coventry Building Society Arena on the sixth anniversary of the Manchester attack.

"It would be nice for him to know that us survivors feel safe enough at his show to return to a concert on the anniversary of the attack. "When I left the arena I saw so much blood and people with bad injuries, and had a sinking feeling of something bad might have happened to Eilidh. I was only 14 and thought the world was full of love and kindness and never imagined that someone would bring a bomb to a concert," she openly said. "I'm lucky to have had lots of people being supportive and wishing me well and letting me know they plan on taking part or would love to help out. She had music within her and told me she dreamed of being a musician in the future." "I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to honour my friend Eilidh and the other victims in a positive way to promote strength and unity," she said. "Eilidh's favourite Harry Style's song was Sign of the Times so we want people to hold up posters of the One Love Manchester ribbon during this performance," aid Lyric. For more information about the One Love Manchester Project, click "By remembering and raising awareness of what happened that night, we can educate people on how to stay safe at public events," she said. Twenty-year-old Lyric Holmes wants to turn the Arena pink in honour of those killed in the 2017 attach, including her friend Eilidh Macleod. This resulted in 23 people being killed, including the attacker, and over 1,000 injured many of which were children. "Live music was so central to the attack and the aftermath, so it felt fitting to want to bring the memory of the victims in May and celebrate their lives."
