Maxine Snapka marked her 100th birthday at the beloved restaurant, which has been in business for 75 years.
Snapka used to come to the car and look in to see what we were eating." He would take the bottle from them, pour it out and make them go in and eat a hamburger. He was always on the lot and always causing a little bit of problems. The stories I hear are great. We were the first in Corpus Christi to sell hard-shell tacos. He would write to the carhops all the time saying, "I can barely wait to get back to Snapka's." I hear people telling me they used to come when they were little and now they're gray-haired and old. We had to close our Leopard location recently to have the roof redone. Kathy Snapka also partook in the chat. Maxine Snapka emphasized that her many recurring customers and her employees are like her family. โYou were just not in a nice place, but to get a letter from home every month was absolutely wonderful,โ Kemp said. Kemp said his mom asked Method Snapka for help to keep her son in line.
