‘But it was about the end of 2020 when I got to the point where I thought it might be a good time to make an album. ‘It made us — and I’m sure a lot of people, regardless of what their jobs were — just kind of re-evaluate what they’re doing. ‘It comes from such an isolated time, I feel like it won’t be complete until I’ve given it to people,’ she says. It had been a time of reassessment for Gabrielle and many like her. The songs, says Gabrielle, are her first in a while that come from a place where pressure was completely removed.
