As January draws to a close, United will play rivals Liverpool at home, before a third away tie of the month, versus Wolverhampton Wanderers. 14 January – Liverpool U21 (H, 17:00 GMT) 6 January – Fulham U21 (A, 19:00 GMT) After returning from Malta, Marc Skinner’s side take on rivals Liverpool at home in the WSL before traveling Adams Park Stadium to take on Reading. Pep Guardiola’s side beat the Reds 6-3 at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season, and Erik will be looking for United to put that right this month. After a strong start return to club action with wins over Burnley and Nottingham Forest, Ten Hag’s men will begin with four fixtures in a row at Old Trafford.
