Here's everything you need to know about the Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium.

City should have too much here with Everton struggling still and the freshness from Pep Guardiola’s deep squad. The numbers are unbelievable but I have the feeling he is not just coming here for the numbers, he wants to win it. “I had the feeling he is not at his best.

We simulated Man City vs Everton to get a Premier League score ... (Manchester Evening News)

Manchester City host Everton in the Premier League on New Year's Eve, so we simulated the game to try and predict the full-time score.

FIFA 23 predicts that Man City could overcome Everton with ease on Saturday, winning 5-0 in the simulation. It was a dominant first-half display from City, and they entered the break with a four-goal lead when De Bruyne grabbed his second of the afternoon, drilling a shot into the bottom corner from just outside the box on the right. City took a central free kick short, with Riyad Mahrez laying the ball off to De Bruyne just outside the box. De Bruyne started the move as he picked up the ball deep in the Everton half, and after releasing the ball, the Belgian continued his run forward as his side worked their way into the box. Haaland then hit the post moments after City's second with an acrobatic effort from close range, with Everton struggling to get out of their own half. The striker is well on course to beat the Premier League goalscoring record, and City will be hoping he can continue his goalscoring record against an out-of-form Everton side.

Manchester City vs Everton: How to watch, live stream link, team news (NBC Sports)

Manchester City continues to hunt Premier League-leading Arsenal and its next obstacle is struggling Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

QUESTIONABLE: Yerry Mina (thigh). While the first three losses in that stretch — Manchester United, Spurs, and Newcastle — are understandable, Everton’s draw with Fulham and losses to Leicester, Bournemouth, and Wolves (two at home) won’t have the boss feeling at a slow boil. [City thumped Leeds](https://soccer.nbcsports.com/2022/12/29/leeds-vs-manchester-city-score-erling-haaland-video-highlights-analysis/) to move back into second place, and the defending champs could pull within two points of the Gunners before Arsenal meets Brighton later Saturday. In fact, it seems likely he’ll best the mark for goals in a 42-game season despite the league calendar now providing just 38 top-flight encounters. It does bear repeating, as it seems like only injury can stop the Norwegian from setting a new Premier League single-season goals record. A loss or draw for Everton and win from one of Wolves, Nottingham Forest, or Southampton would leave the Goodison Park set in the relegation zone come New Year’s Day.

The ball is then delivered to the far post and Iwobi heads behind for a corner, which Tarkowski clears. Pickford dives to his right to push away an effort from De Bruyne. To concede so late on was never nice. City looked to be cruising to routine victory in their final game of 2022 when I don’t need to tell you Erling Haaland’s a good player. It feels good to get a point.

Man City vs Everton LIVE - team news, kick-off time, score and stream (Liverpool Echo)

Everton are back in Premier League action this afternoon as Frank Lampard's side take on Manchester City at the Etihad.

City have a free-kick on the edge of the box. Everton finally have a free-kick inside the City half after Maupay goes down. He had a little slip but he then picked his spot and the keeper had no chance. Let us know what you thought of the Everton players below! The reaction to the result the other day was all negative. It was a bit of a scrappy game. The quality of the finish was top draw. My gut instinct was that it was a yellow card in the first place. Well, I think it was the first kick of the game. But that’s not a question for today to be fair, because when he scores a goal like that it just shows you the talent he’s got and it wins us the point. In that situation it's movement and attacking at the right moment. But the next thing for Demarai is: can he get goals when we're in a high attacking structure where he arrives in the box for tap-ins?

All over at Molineux and Man United have taken the three points to enter the new year in the top four. It’s the first goal of the afternoon and a big one for Palace. The first chance of the game at Craven Cottage. on the final day of the year! And Fulham do now have their breakthrough goal at the Cottage. World class and from Everton’s first shot of the afternoon too. It ends goals at St James’ Park with Newcastle unable to break down the Leeds back line in a goalless stalemate. Pep Guardiola never believed the puff that his team would be champions by 15 points and it’s clear they are really going to have to fight with Arsenal to complete a hat-trick of titles with tough fixtures ahead starting with Chelsea. I don’t want to be in the meetings with them – I don’t care. Jack Grealish, Nathan Patterson and Rodri all needed treatment as the tackles reined in and Everton capitalised on the disruptions in spectacular style. ‘Erling was a bit angry about the first action of the game on his ankle but he deserved the yellow card. Ben Godfrey didn’t give Haaland a moment’s peace even though the Norwegian still managed to get his 27th City goal in only 21 games.
