Daredevil star Charlie Cox has explained how the major death in finale for TV series Treason almost didn't happen before Netflix made a call.

‘Matt called me and he was like, “So I just got off the phone with Netflix and as much as they love you, it’s like, we need you to die. ‘That’s one thing that was in the original pitch to me. So it was always part of the plan. ‘I think that’s really important, that it feels like it can live and breathe. Maybe we don’t kill him or maybe he survives? but it’s quickly made clear that he had in fact been killed.
