On New Year's Day, Waitroise shops will be closed, with the exception of a small number which will have varying opening hours between 7am and 10pm. More of the Tesco Express stores will be opening on Boxing Day with many reporting opening times from 9am until around 6pm or 7pm. These stores will most likely be the smaller Tesco shops and have stock which is catered to city centre workers picking up their lunch. The smaller stores, so the Tesco Extra sites, are going to be open as normal on December 23. When we checked it's opening times tool today, Tesco superstores and Extra stores are to most likely be open as usual on Friday, December 23. Tesco shops will then all be closed on December 25. This means your local store will likely be open under different times compared to when it usually is.
