The original play was to go hard in both competitions, I was really excited about this fixture, but it is not Gloucester's fault that the fixtures have changed. Albert Tuisue puts in a stunning carry right over Leinster flyhalf Ross Byrne. - On the bench, there is a return from injury for both Johnny Sexton and Jordan Larmour, with both players looking to make their first Leinster appearances since October. - The back-three remains the same for the third game in a row with Hugo Keenan starts at full-back, with Jimmy OโBrien and James Lowe on the wings. Leinster earn the put in at a scrum and then win a penalty at the setpiece. That is the unfortunate outcome of the situation in the Premiership, it is about adapting and reacting and I have got to decide when to rest players and I decided on this one. You have got to be start and you have got to look after the players and this is a game we decided to rest players. TRY - Leinster Gloucester skipper Ben Meehan puts in a shallow box kick to allow his kick chasers to get under the ball and Leinster skipper Garry Ringrose knocks on under pressure trying to claim it. Gloucester are on the edge of the Leinster 22 and a big charge from Jack Clement gets the visitors on the front foot, but the move runs out of momentum and Billy Twelvetrees opts to kick through. NO TRY - Leinster But the try is scrubbed off with Leinster inside the 5m tramlines at the lineout

Leinster overpower an understrength Gloucester as they stroll to a 57-0 bonus-point Heineken Champions Cup victory in Dublin.
Giorgi Kveseladze briefly threatened in a rare Gloucester attack before Doris completed the scoring in injury time with the try his performance deserved, leaving Sexton to kick the extras with the final touch of an encounter which Leinster were in complete control of throughout. There was a landmark moment for Lowe when he collected another fine Doris pass before running in what was his 50th try for Leinster, and 20 minutes later Larmour marked his welcome return with a try after great work from Dan Sheehan. Leinster took full advantage of the extra man, scoring two tries in the final few minutes of the first half, the first coming from Ryan who made sure they had their bonus point before Kelleher ran in unopposed for his second of the game.

Leinster Rugby earned a bonus point win in the RDS, beating Gloucester 57-0 on the second weekend of the Heineken Champions Cup.
The Leinster scrum marched forward. Ross Byrne angled the ball to the 5-metre line from back-to-back penalties, the maul travelling first-class for van der Flier to claim the try, Byrne converting for 12-0 in the 19th minute. Then, Doris rescued an unprotected ball from the breakdown, covered ground in the blink of an eye, and released a long pass to hit Lowe in stride for the opening try from distance in the 13th minute.
