Two men are being treated in hospital following a suspected gas explosion at a house in Co Wexford.
One man in his 40s was brought to Wexford General Hospital with serious burn injuries, while a man in his 90s, understood to be his father, is also being treated in hospital for shock and minor physical injuries. Local diversions were put in place for a number of hours while the incident was being dealt with, but the roads affected have reopened. It is understood that the younger man was attempting to light a stove when an explosion took place, causing a fire which has significantly damaged the house.
