Schools closing for bad weather 'cannot make up with remote learning' (The Irish Times)

While some schools may close this week if local conditions are poor, they have been told days must be made up by cutting non-tuition activities.

Principal Barbara Ennis said the school was keen to ensure continuity of learning for its students. He also emphasised that it made sense to offer online teaching where possible. Ireland will remain wintry and โ€œrawโ€ over the coming days, raising the potential for further closures.
