Irish music legend Shane MacGowan has been admitted to hospital, as revealed by his wife Victoria Mary Clarke.

Shane MacGowan, famous for singing the iconic Christmas song Fairytale of New York, has suffered with a number of health issues recently.
This led to MacGowan being sober โfor the first time in yearsโ. Shane MacGown has also suffered with substance abuse, as well as being a heavy drinker being renowned for performing while intoxicated. The singer suffered a dangerous fall last year as he broke his knee and tore ligaments in the joint.
