Once the new route over the N25 is opened next week, the 'Ibis' slip road onto the M8 from Dunkettle will close to allow for further works to be completed, with motorists being diverted via the new link roads to access the N8, the N40 and the M8. The second new road, Link H/Structure 01/Link Q’ will provide access for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, and will link the same Glanmire to Glounthaune Road with the regional road in Little Island via a brand new bridge over the N25. Motorists are being urged to familiarise themselves with the new layouts set to open next week, with multiple changes coming into place involving the opening of new roads and the closure of existing ones.
