[a study done by USA Today](https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/12/27/kostigen-farmers-almanac/20851273/), the Almanac is only right about half the time, which would make it one of the worst forecasters in the business. A popular legend is that in 1816, an edition of The Old Farmerโs Almanac was mistakenly printed in which rain, hail, and snow were predicted for the month of July. After all, I am not an old farmer. The secondโs a cultural thing. But in an odd twist when July rolled around, it apparently snowed! Now that Iโm a dad, I figure itโs time to see what all the fuss is about.
