[a study done by USA Today](https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/12/27/kostigen-farmers-almanac/20851273/), the Almanac is only right about half the time, which would make it one of the worst forecasters in the business. A popular legend is that in 1816, an edition of The Old Farmerโ€™s Almanac was mistakenly printed in which rain, hail, and snow were predicted for the month of July. After all, I am not an old farmer. The secondโ€™s a cultural thing. But in an odd twist when July rolled around, it apparently snowed! Now that Iโ€™m a dad, I figure itโ€™s time to see what all the fuss is about.
