Former This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes, who is married to Loose Women and This Morning host Ruth Langsford, was among their most vocal critics, accusing them on TV of "lies". I have the best friend, we have the best boss." She jokingly added: "I ain't going to lie but we all know I should have won one of these as well. Booing could be heard among the cheers for the TV stars during the ceremony before the sound from the audience appeared to cut out.
Other people were also quick to point out that ‘awkward’ moment as boos were heard. The pair then pushed fellow This Morning presenter, Alison Hammond towards the mic, who earlier lost out on the Best Presenter award to Ant and Dec. She joked “I should have won one of these as well - you know what?
Loose Women stars failed to clap for Holly and Phillip as This Morning took home an NTA win.
