We simulated Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest to get a score ... (Nottinghamshire Live)

Nottingham Forest face Leicester City in the Premier League on Monday, so we simulated the clash to try and predict the outcome.

FIFA 23 predicts that impressive goalkeeping performances could see the clash between Leicester and Forest end all square, with both sides failing to score. Lewis O'Brien threaded a pass through to Brennan Johnson inside the box, and the Welshman's strike was saved by the feet of Ward. A long ball over the top saw Vardy chase down possession, beating Wily Boly to the ball and breaking towards goal. The English striker tested Dean Henderson from close range after just two minutes, and the Forest 'keeper was forced into making a terrific save moments later. Leicester are yet to win a game this season, with the Foxes only having picked up one point from their opening seven games. Now, the two basement sides will battle it out for three points, with a win for Forest potentially moving them out of the relegation zone.

Sutton's predictions: Leicester City v Nottingham Forest (BBC News)

Chris Sutton is taking on Sports Team drummer Al Greenwood to pick his winners and losers for the latest round of Premier League fixtures.

King Power Stadium will be rocking and if any game is going to get their squad focused again, you would think it would be this one. Cooper is going to need time for his new-look team to gel and, in the meantime, they are going to find it tough. It wouldn't make any sense to get rid of him now, rather than during a break in the campaign when a new coach has got a bit of time to bed things in, but things need to improve before the season stops for the World Cup in mid-November, because that is an obvious time for struggling clubs to change their manager.

Live action, analysis, and reaction from the King Power Stadium as Leicester City face Nottingham Forest in an East Midlands derby and Premier League ...

We want them to come and really show that faith in the team. “You judge goalkeepers not just on the saves they make but how they react to mistakes. "It's been a really challenging start for him but you have to show faith,” Rodgers said. The boss reveals that they go into their next run of matches before the World Cup break in mid-November "really optimistic, and really determined to fight for the results". I believe he's a really good keeper and hopefully over time he can show that." There is also talk of the opportunity ahead to "break the cycle," starting with Forest. Monday night against Nottingham Forest, it should be a great game, and I'm pretty sure they will come and push the players over the line.” “It's important for us on the field to keep that calmness. We are live at the King Power Stadium to bring you all of the action, analysis, and reaction. It is set to be a huge occasion on Monday night, not just because it's the first top-flight meeting between the two East Midlands neighbours for more than 20 years, but with both managers under pressure as their sides sit 20th and 19th in the table. So it's important they come and give us that support. The anniversary of his death is four years this month.

Leicester City player ratings vs Nottingham Forest: James Maddison ... (Leicestershire Live)

How we scored the Leicester City players as Brendan Rodgers' side ended their six-game losing run with a rout over their East Midlands neighbours Nottingham ...

Patson Daka: The finish was ingenious and he got involved in build-up phases too. Jamie Vardy: The wait for a goal goes on, but there were more chances, and importantly, lots of good movement to get on the end of those crosses, through balls, and long punts up the pitch. His footwork was superb, his choice of pass was excellent, his free-kicks were clever, and he grabbed a couple of goals too. He let others provide the final ball further forward, but he was integral in the build-up. James Justin: He got stuck in well early on and provided good support to Barnes ahead of him, and to his centre-backs inside. Timothy Castagne: He dealt well with the situation when Ward did not come for a loose ball and ran hard up the wing to provide an outlet on the right. The pick of his saves came early in the second half when he denied Awoniyi on the edge of his box, but he made a handful of other decent stops too. The goal that sealed the win for City came with around a quarter of an hour to play. With a fanbase and a set of players willing to push hard for the other, it was an electric start from City. But that was the only change from the 6-2 drubbing at Spurs, with Rodgers staying true to his word and showing faith in under-fire goalkeeper Danny Ward. Harvey Barnes and Patson Daka also found the net on a brilliant night for City that finally gave the 30,000 home fans something to shout about. The result will have come as a relief to manager Brendan Rodgers following the question marks over his future, but in front of watching City chairman Aiyawatt ‘Top’ Srivaddhanaprabha, his side produced an excellent performance from start to finish.
