Fantasy Football League, review: Nineties lads' TV favourite makes ... (Telegraph.co.uk)

Elis James and Matt Lucas have replaced Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, but otherwise the format is unchanged – un-PC jokes and all.

It was just a shame there were no nods to the women’s game, especially after a week with no top-flight men’s football. Later in the series, we’re promised actor Brian Cox (currently languishing bottom of the league), athlete Mo Farah (top of the table), comedian Jennifer Saunders, presenters Rachel Riley and Gabby Logan, and newsreader Trevor McDonald. New co-hosts Matt Lucas (a devoted Arsenal fan) and Elis James (Swansea City) came off the bench for an ambitious 16-week run, filmed the night before transmission to ensure topicality. Segments included “The Big Hello”, “A Few Things We've Noticed from Watching Football” (basically Harry Hill’s TV Burp for football coverage) and the much-loved “Phoenix from the Flames”, recreating moments from footballing history. Mensah made for a lively addition, cracking edgy gags about taking the knee and teasing Lucas for his blackface misdemeanours on Little Britain. [Frank Skinner and David Baddiel’s BBC Two cult classic](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/0/didnt-even-drink-baddiel-skinners-fantasy-football-accidentally/) was in its pomp during the mid-1990s, when it spawned inescapable terrace anthem Three Lions and, along with Chris Evans’s TFI Friday, came to epitomise laddish Nineties TV.

2022 NFL season: Week 4 fantasy football matchups (NFL.com)

NFL.com breaks down the best -- and worst -- fantasy matchups ahead of each week of the 2022 NFL fantasy football season.

The Saints have allowed just 5.1 fantasy points per game to the tight end position this season (second-fewest in NFL). In Week 4, the Rams will face the 49ers, who have allowed just 7.3 TOTAL fantasy points (2.4 points/game) to the tight end position through the first three weeks this season. The Bills have allowed a league-low 7.6 fantasy points per game to the tight end position since the start of the 2021 season. The Falcons have allowed 20.4 fantasy points per game to the tight end position in 2022 (second-most in NFL) --- However, he gets a touch matchup this weekend against the Patriots, who have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to WRs in 2022. The 49ers have allowed a league-low 148.3 passing yards per game and just 9.6 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (second-fewest in NFL) in 2022. The Ravens have allowed 175 more receiving yards to WRs than any other team in the NFL this season, while the Bills WRs have combined for the second-most receiving yards in the NFL. [Russell Wilson](https://www.nfl.com/players/russell-wilson/), [Matthew Stafford](https://www.nfl.com/players/matthew-stafford/), [Aaron Rodgers](https://www.nfl.com/players/aaron-rodgers/), and [Tom Brady](https://www.nfl.com/players/tom-brady/) through the first three weeks. Rookie RB [Ken Walker III](https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kenneth-walker-iii/32005741-4c39-1813-7d3e-48047712136d) is getting more involved in the Seahawks offense, but Penny is still the clear lead back and he should have a very nice fantasy day in Week 4. Ekeler has had a very meh start to the fantasy season, averaging just 14.3 points per game in PPR leagues. [Joe Flacco](https://www.nfl.com/players/joe-flacco/), [Tua Tagovailoa](https://www.nfl.com/players/tua-tagovailoa/) and [Mac Jones](https://www.nfl.com/players/mac-jones/). The Broncos have struggled to get into the end zone, but the Raiders have the third-worst red zone defense in the NFL this season.

Fantasy Football: 5 WR/CB matchups to target and 5 to avoid in ... (Pro Football Focus)

Here are the top-five WR/CB matchups to target and avoid heading into Week 4.

CB [Tariq Woolen](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/tariq-woolen/61790), [Seattle Seahawks](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/seattle-seahawks/29/roster) Seattle’s cornerback trio will receive “help” from free safety [Quandre Diggs](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/quandre-diggs/9633), whose 66.4 PFF coverage grade ranks 18th at the safety position among NFL safeties with at least 100 coverage snaps. [Chris Olave](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/chris-olave/84355), [New Orleans Saints](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/new-orleans-saints/20/roster) vs. Olave, the team leader in explosive pass plays (four), was already going to have his number called repeatedly against this bunch – and that was before X-receiver [Michael Thomas](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/michael-thomas/10681) and slot receiver [Jarvis Landry](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/jarvis-landry/8698) suffered respective toe and ankle injuries last week. [Jameis Winston](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/jameis-winston/9434) (back/ankle) and wide receiver [Michael Thomas](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/michael-thomas/10681) (foot) both failed to practice this week. [Cameron Dantzler](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/cameron-dantzler/42472) on 17 snaps and slot cornerback [Chandon Sullivan](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/chandon-sullivan/49349) on 12 snaps, but Olave’s pre-snap alignments do not actually lineup with the snap projections given in the chart. Seattle’s 18.8% explosive pass plays allowed rate, the third highest in the NFL, is a perfect match for Reynolds and his newly minted downfield role. Stretching the field with aplomb, Reynolds leads the team with five explosive pass plays. The latter sum ranks seventh in the league overall, and his 19.3-yard average depth of target (aDot) is No. Just three games into his professional career, Olave leads his team in targets (28), receptions (17) and receiving yards (268). Pivoting to slot receiver [Jarvis Landry](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/jarvis-landry/8698) (11.2-yard aDot) in DFS is a smart move, as his matchup against [Chandon Sullivan](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/chandon-sullivan/49349) earned Landry a good 68.8 matchup advantage rating in PFF’s WR/CB matchup chart. Fantasy managers should expect backup [Andy Dalton](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/andy-dalton/6187) to start this week.

Week 4 Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet: Chase Claypool Comeback (Sports Illustrated)

There is nothing but empty seats on the Chase Claypool bandwagon, but let's buy a one-week ticket for this Week 4 matchup versus the Jets.

[Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 4](https://www.si.com/fantasy/2022/09/27/waiver-wire-pickups-week-4-trevor-lawrence-zay-jones) [Week 4 Trade Targets](https://www.si.com/fantasy/2022/09/29/week-4-fantasy-football-trade-targets-josh-jacobs) [Week 4 Dynasty Stock Watch](https://www.si.com/fantasy/2022/09/27/dynasty-stock-watch-week-4-chris-olave-rashod-bateman-mack-hollins) [Good News, Bad News: Sanders, McCaffrey, St. [David Njoku](https://www.si.com/nfl/player/david-njoku) and the Browns have the Falcons on tap. I know it's not easy to watch [Mitchell Trubisky](https://www.si.com/nfl/player/mitchell-trubisky) put a hard cap on this offense's potential, but I'm drawn to this matchup because of the matchup against the Jets. Atlanta's TE points allowed thus far is a bit skewed because [Taysom Hill](https://www.si.com/nfl/player/taysom-hill) rushed four times for 81 yards and a touchdown. I'm asking you to ramp the anxiety up a notch by trusting [Chase Claypool ](https://www.si.com/college/college-football/player/chase-claypool)to have a great Week 4. We just have to hope Njoku is able to play this week. Atlanta ranks 24th in pass DVOA but that has more to do with a lack of consistent pass rush. Finally in Week 3, the Bengals trio of Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd combined for 15 catches on 22 targets for 227 yards and two scores. [Diontae Johnson](https://www.si.com/nfl/player/diontae-johnson) this season is stressful enough given he has yet to find the end zone. [what happened to Tua Tagovailoa last night](https://www.si.com/nfl/2022/09/30/nfl-tua-tagovailoa-injury-complicated-unsettling) in the Dolphins game against the Bengals. In Week 2, it was Amari Cooper's turn, as he posted nine receptions on 10 targets for 101 yards and a score. I'm wishing Tua all the best and I'm sure he's receiving support from millions.

Fantasy Football Millionaire Picks: Top DraftKings NFL DFS Plays ... (DraftKings Nation)

Geoff Ulrich and Pearce Dietrich join The Sweat to give their favorite DraftKings Fantasy Football Millionaire plays for Week 4.

Personal views on the games and strategies above do not necessarily reflect the view(s) of DraftKings and do not constitute a representation that any particular strategy will guarantee success. Let’s also give some credit to the Browns, also: They’ve got an extended break since the Thursday game. The Atlanta Falcons have allowed the fourth-most points to wide receivers. the Titans’ d-line right now is a complete mismatch. Jonathan Taylor has had a couple slow weeks, and now his salary has dipped to $8,800. Now is the time, and he still is relatively affordable. He has an old-school coach that likes to run the ball. Of course, Buffalo needs to cut out the mistakes, but those things are going to happen. He’s not that good, but he really is all that Houston has. If you’re not going with the (top) tier quarterback, let’s get a little crazy. The fundamentals of from this offense look amazing. And he’s taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers, who just made Jacoby Brissett look like a cross between Michael Vick and Joe Montana.

While Hoyer is a veteran, this is a blow to a wide receiving corps that was already unreliable for Fantasy managers. (quadriceps) - Doubtful Fantasy managers should prepare for a reduction in targets for all pass catchers but the aforementioned players are still start-worthy options in Week 4 against a Pittsburgh defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. The Zach Ertz is in for a tough matchup this week against the Panthers. [Carolina Panthers](https://www.catscratchreader.com/) welcome in the [Arizona Cardinals](https://www.revengeofthebirds.com/) in week 4, and the Cardinals bring Byron Murphy with them. One of the weaker points for the Philadelphia Eagles this season has been their rushing attack. [Los Angeles Rams](https://www.turfshowtimes.com/) offense has been very mediocre so far this season and that is not likely to improve this week against division rival [San Francisco 49ers](https://www.ninersnation.com/). The Browns are coming off of 10 days of rest and face a weak [Atlanta Falcons](https://www.thefalcoholic.com/) team. Fantasy Football Week 4: Biggest Sleepers at Every Position (Bleacher Report)

Remember when Geno Smith said people wrote him off, but he didn't write back after the Seattle Seahawks' Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos? Well, managers ...

Darius Slayton has played just [18 offensive snaps](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SlayDa01.htm#snap_counts) this season. Meanwhile, James has emerged as a reliable slot receiver who currently leads the team in catches (14) with 146 receiving yards. He finished second on the team in receptions and targets behind Doubs. Brown played through injury, Reynolds had his best game of the 2022 campaign, hauling in six passes for 96 yards. Though Burkhead has taken a backseat to rookie fourth-round running back Dameon Pierce, he may handle more carries after the latter fumbled twice (but didn’t lose possession) last week. For the season, he’s second on his team in catches (16) with 131 scrimmage yards. If quarterback Justin Herbert continues to play through a rib injury with minimal issues, the Chargers can score in flurries. Yet the 32-year-old continues to play a consistent role in the Houston Texans' short passing attack. However, the NFC North squad has permitted the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. If the young signal-caller targets Conklin as much as Joe Flacco did between Weeks 1 and 3 (24), the pass-catching tight end should make next week’s list. In Week 3, he finished with the Well, managers should pencil him into starting lineups for Week 4 because he has a chance to light up one of the league’s most generous defenses.
