Leeds United line-ups vs Brighton as Bamford and Cooper ... (Leeds Live)

Leeds United visit Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday with choices at Jesse Marsch's disposal so we tasked our club writers to name ...

Robin Koch and Diego Llorente were excellent against Chelsea last Sunday and I wouldn’t be breaking that partnership at the minute. [Bamford](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/all-about/patrick-bamford), Luis Sinisterra, Joe Gelhardt, Cody Drameh, Sam Greenwood and Mateusz Klich could all feasibly be sitting behind Marsch on Saturday. [Liam Cooper’s](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/all-about/liam-cooper) return to contention will boost the bench even further, but his influence and leadership is not enough to dislodge Robin Koch or Diego Llorente, after their roles in Sunday’s win. Looking at how strong the bench may be in East Sussex is a more useful task. Liam Cooper has returned to full fitness in time to give Jesse Marsch even more selection options this weekend. [Leeds United](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/all-about/leeds-united-fc) delivered a virtually complete display in battering Chelsea 3-0 on Sunday and there is little cause for making changes.

Leeds United Have More Strength at Midfield After Summer Moves (We Are Hooligans)

Leeds United faced a difficult season, but were able to stay up. After losing Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, the board moved smartly and fast.

In essence, the Leeds midfield is far better this season than it was last run out. Phillips and Raphinha are irreplaceable players, but Leeds did not sit and sulk in the transfer window. Although losing your two most skilled players is not ideal, the team was able to embrace a new era of Leeds football under Jesse Marsch.

Preview: Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Leeds United - prediction, team ... (Sports Mole)

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Premier League clash between Brighton & Hove Albion and Leeds United, including predictions, team news.

[Jakub Moder](/people/jakub-moder/) remains sidelined for several months with the cruciate ligament rupture that he sustained towards the end of last season, but otherwise Brighton are unscathed. Clearly, Leeds will travel to East Sussex full of confidence after their exceptional start, even if the former RB Leipzig boss will be trying to keep his players' feet on the ground. However, in hindsight at least, that decision looks to have been a necessary evil in order to preserve Leeds' status as a Premier League club. If they can come out of the other side of Saturday's test against Leeds with three points, Brighton could prove to be a very tough force to stop for any side this season. In reality, any pressure on the 47-year-old's shoulders is minimal, though, especially after another brilliant performance from his team on the road against West Ham last time out, with Even last season, Brighton picked up 29 of their 51 points away from home, having only won five times and scored 19 goals in 19 games on home soil.

Jesse Marsch reveals Patrick Bamford latest and Leeds United team ... (Yorkshire Evening Post)

Jesse Marsch says Leeds United are yet to make a call on Patrick Bamford's availability for Saturday's Premier League trip to Brighton.

The pair came through the midweek test unscathed and Sinisterra shone with contributions to all three goals for Leeds, scoring the first himself. The performances of the team allows us to be patient, but we still have a call to make on this weekend. He sat out the 3-0 win over Chelsea and the midweek Carabao Cup victory against Barnsley. We want to put him in the best possible physical position to pick up where he left off.” His 2021/22 season was ravaged by a series of injuries, including ankle, quad and foot problems. Both Liam Cooper and Luis Sinisterra made their first starts of the season in the cup against Barnsley.

Jesse Marsch has confirmed that he does not know whether Patrick Bamford will be fit enough to feature against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

Bogusz is now close to returning after overcoming a knee injury he picked up on loan last season, but Dallas is not expected back for a few months yet due to a thigh injury. I think also with the performances of the team, it allows us to be patient but we will still have a call to make for exactly what it means for this weekend. Indeed, the Leeds head coach says he doesn’t know if Bamford will be fit enough to be involved this weekend. But we want to put him in the best position possible to physically be ready to pick up where he left off.” “Obviously Stuart [Dallas] is a little bit away, but working really hard." As such, the two sides will be looking to continue their recent momentum when they meet in Sussex, with Leeds buoyed by victories against Chelsea in the league and Barnsley in the Carabao Cup this week.

In fact, they dedicate a specific section to the former Leeds man, recalling that he ‘cost practically nothing to Bari, if not a small percentage of a future sale to be sent to Leeds, who were the owners of his contract’. That’s where he ended up being sold, and he’s started the season very well, to such an extent that some are already lauding the decision to sign him from Jesse Marsch’s side. The young goalkeeper was sent by the Elland Road side to Pro Patria in Serie C, where he excelled, helping them reach a tidy 11th spot in the league.

Leeds United predicted XI v Brighton: No Dan James, Sinisterra starts (MOT Leeds News)

Jesse Marsch is predicted to hand Luis Sinisterra his full Premier League debut when Leeds United take on Brighton at the AMEX on Saturday afternoon.

While he might not be left out due to speculation, he could be left out because Sinisterra is clearly the better option to start on the right-wing based on the Welshman’s recent form and the new signing’s performance against Barnsley. Sinisterra’s start could mean that Daniel James is left out of the starting line-up. In the attack, Sinisterra could start on the right wing with Jack Harrison on the left and Brenden Aaronson in the number 10 role behind Rodrigo, who’s got four goals in three Premier League games so far.
