Jake Doyle-Hayes makes his first league start of the season in place of Nohan Kenneh, whilst Josh Campbell also returns from his thigh contact injury in place for the injured Elias Melkersen. The first change comes at the back as Rocky Bushiri recovers from the thigh injury that kept his out of Livingston.

The Hibs fans are in uproar. Debate will rage on as to whether Colak should've been awarded a penalty or not. Rangers started dominating the ball but couldn't do anything with their possession. Welshman Matondo manages to get to the byline and whip a low cross into Hibs' box. He fed the ball to Antonio Colak who attempted a shot but he scuffed it and Hibs remained safe. Tavernier did well to dink a little ball into Tom Lawrence who found himself in loads of space at the edge of the box. Lee Johnson is looking to change to a back four rather than the back five which has been working fairly well in the game so far! The Rangers captain lands on the ball at the edge of Hibs' box. The right-back took a short run up and slotted the penalty to David Marshall's left. What a whirlwind finish to the first-half! The Rangers striker lowered his head into Rocky's boot as the Hibs defender went to clear a long ball. He gets to the byline and takes his time before drilling a low cross along Rangers' goalmouth.

Former Everton and Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram was shown a straight red card for Rangers vs Hibernian.
It's not violent conduct, it's not a red card." That looks incredibly harsh, doesn’t it? 🎙️"That to me is not serious foul play. [Borussia Dortmund](https://www.givemesport.com/borussia-dortmund) in the UEFA Europa League. In the second half of Rangers’ trip to Hibernian, Lundstram was shown a straight red card for one of the most cynical fouls you’re ever likely to see in a professional setting. Josh Campbell scored a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser as Hibernian denied nine-man Rangers victory in a dramatic Premiership showdown.
But Rangers restored their advantage in the 58th minute when Lawrence powered home a header from a Barisic cross at the end of an excellent flowing attack. The visitors started to crank up the pressure towards half-time and Tavernier flashed a half-volley just wide from the edge of the box in the 42nd minute. The hosts furiously protested at the decision but Tavernier kept his cool to slot home the spot-kick and give the visitors the lead.
NINE man Rangers were held to a 2-2 draw at Easter Road this afternoon in the Scottish Premiership.
It all began in midfield with Jack spraying a super ball wide for Kent. But rather than going to 2-0, the scores went to 1-1 with Hibs claiming an equaliser on 51 minutes. Then, on the stroke of half-time, Rangers were awarded a penalty. Boyle looked to bring the ball away from the Gers goal for Hibs, and while Lundstram definitely brought him down cynically, there was no malice, albeit referee Collum was in no doubt as to the colour of the card. Colak shot over on the end of a Matondo cross as Gers looked to hit back – and hit back they did on 58 minutes with a super piece of football. Kent had the first big opening of the game when he ghosted away from Chris Cadden on the edge of the box to get in for a shot, but he dallied and Hibs were able to nip in and clear.
