Man charged with murder of Sean McCarthy remanded in custody (The Irish Times)

Dean Caffrey (36) made no reply to charge over death of man whose body was found in Drumcondra apartment.

The judge acceded and remanded him in custody to appear via video link at Cloverhill District Court on August 17th for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions to be obtained. A man has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of Ballymun man Sean McCarthy whose body was found in an apartment in Drumcondra in Dublin at the weekend. He was charged with murdering Sean McCarthy on August 2nd at Mr Caffrey’s home.
