- Under Dhoni's captaincy, India won the ODI World Cup after 28 years. Rohit Sharma's side will now look to shift the momentum back in their favour. - Former New Zealand fast bowler Heath Davis, who represented the BlackCaps in five Tests and 11 ODIs, has revealed that he is gay. As soon as the tweet was up, fans flocked to social media to show their excitement. The third T20I is also off to a delayed start, although not as bad as the second one was, because of the late finish that we saw yesterday. Just to recap on the drama that happened before the second T20I, Cricket West Indies said that there was a delay in the arrival of baggage into St Kitts and Nevis - the first T20I was played in Trinidad - because of which the match had initially been pushed back by two hours. If anything, India might just opt to rest Bhuvneshwar Kumar at some point this series but unlikely it will happen at this point. He ended with figures of 6/17, which was the best by a West Indies bowler in T20Is. But India kept chipping away at their batting lineup after that and the dismissals of Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer seemed to hurt the hosts the most. Generally, this makes it a little more difficult for the batters to score freely. - India vs West Indies Live Cricket Score 3rd T20I Match Updates: Rohit Sharma has finally won the toss and India will bowl first. Any T20 batting lineup with the likes of Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell is intimidating but the West Indies have for some reason not been able to get the best of these players.

Gone for FOUR! And that would FIFTY for Windies. WI 50/0(6.2) Nice cricket from Windies. WI 56/0(7) And a single to end the over and that would be the end of the powerplay as well. And huge appeal for a catch here, Pant is desperate and rushes to skipper Rohit and he takes the DRS. Well, let’s see. And that would be FIFTY for Kyle Mayers. WI 83/1(12.3) That was in the slot and Mayers will not need an invitation for that sort of delivery. Pandya back into the attack and gets India the BREAKTHROUGH! Yes, that would be Brandon King. Pulls his length back and the batter chopped that on. And another FOUR. This time it is Brandon King. Short ball from Ash and the batter rocks back and cuts that away for FOUR through the off side. Meanwhile he couldn’t escape Nicholas Pooran who has just launched him for FOUR. WI 90/1(13.2) But that was not to be as the batter now improvises and plays the reverse sweep…gone for FOUR. WI 70/1(10.4) First one goes for a single and then comes the dot balls. And another bouncer, moreover, it’s a dot ball from the bowler.

17.5 Holder to Hooda, FOUR, overpitched again outside off, and Hooda has caressed this through the covers. That lofted straight drive for six off a back of a length on a pitch where a lot of players struggled to time the ball said a lot about the touch he was in. 17.2 Holder to Hardik Pandya, out Caught by D Thomas!! Short of length delivery around off, it's an off-cutter from Holder, and Pandya has nicked it through to the keeper. He threw the kitchen sink at it looking to pull it through square leg. What a brilliant knock that was from Suryakumar Yadav. He got the chase off to a flier, and kicked on to showcase his range again. And by the time he was gone, India were already at the doorstep of victory. Was important for someone to bat deep and win the game, that's what I've focussed on. Was important for someone to bat 15-17 overs after Rohit went back inside. Used the variations well. That stunning hundred in Nottingham, and now this brilliant knock today as well on a slow pitch - Suryakumar continues to show his worth in India's T20 side. We felt like we had enough. I thought we used the conditions well.

Kyle Mayers's knock of 73 went in vain as Suryakumar Yadav smashed 76 off 44 to help India chase 165 and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

His spell of 2/16 against England in the year 2021 tops the list. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the Indian bowlers with his spell of 2/35 in four overs. 2 – Suryakumar Yadav registered his second-best T20I score of 76. He previously smashed 55 against Bangladesh at Providence Stadium in Guyana in July 2022. The visitors suffered a blow in the run-chase when skipper Rohit got retired hurt on 11 due to a back spasm. Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant knock of 76 off 44, which included eight fours and four maximums, overshadowed Kyle Mayers’s innings of 73 as India defeated West Indies by seven wickets at Warner Park to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

Rohit Sharma, who started the second over of the run chase with a six and a four separated by a dot ball, was soon seen struggling in the middle with the physio coming out to attend to him. There was talk of him possibly pulling a muscle while trying to swivel across to play a shot earlier in the same over.
