Timbers' Chara Brothers join Cirque Du Soleil on stage (KPTV.com)

Alegría By Cirque Du Soleil is on tour in Portland and they had some very special guests on Wednesday to prep for their show.

But when it comes to competition, someone must take the cake. They started with an ‘image’ the artists use in their show called the ‘Heart Jump.’ Jonathan Meehan, an artist, says it can be complicated to keep it synchronized. The Chara Brothers are used to the field so to be on stage was something completely new for them.

An immigration tightrope. A group of Ukrainian acrobats are stuck in limbo after being laid off from a Cirque du Soleil production.

All are from regions close to the fighting with Tomchuk's hometown under Russian occupation in the south. The performers say Cirque du Soleil laid them off after being given a year-long contract. "Just more support and more understanding and more appreciation because in this case as a human being, it's not the best,” Tomchuk said.
