In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down." He is actually also the young Creel boy, Henry, who got a grasp of his powers early on when his family first moved to that house in Hawkins. He was the one who killed all the animals and then his mother and sister. He went into a coma after trying to kill his dad, and then he woke up in the care of Dr. Brenner, who had seen him once before. In particular, the memories build up a relationship she formed with orderly Peter Ballard (Jamie Campbell Bower). Peter helps coach Eleven to strengthen her powers, and later he offers to help her escape the lab entirely. Basketball captain Jason Carver goes on a hunt for Eddie after the police reveal to him that they think Eddie killed Chrissy. Lucas goes along for the ride, but he runs away and reunites with the gang eventually. Eleven has been building up to the fateful day that started Season 4, going back through her memories of what led up to the moment. Nancy, Robin and Eddie follow him into the Upside Down, saving him from vicious demobats that continue to bite him. Jonathan had had the idea to call his friend Argyle (Eduardo Franco) who works at Surfer Boy Pizza, to both deliver them a pizza and give them a lift away from the house to go find Eleven. Argyle arrives right as the military guys are ransacking the house and gets the boys to safety. Dr. Sam Owens (Paul Reiser) and his agents track her down and intercept her, updating Eleven on what has been happening in Hawkins, and telling her she is the only hope of saving her friends. When Eleven says she doesn’t have her powers, Owens says there is a way for her to get them back — The Nina Project — but she has to leave with him right then to go there, and there is a chance that if it doesn’t work, she won’t see her friends again. When he reaches the rainbow room, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is facing a mirrored wall that has shattered, and she turns toward him with blood all over her hospital gown as well as streaming from both nostrils and even her eyes. He and Antonov are the only survivors, and the reunion hug between him and Joyce is reward enough for now. We also can’t forget that Joyce and Hopper have officially reunited in Kamchatka, Russia with the help of Murray Bauman, and Steve has suffered some demobat bites, so his health is also of the utmost importance (protect Steve at all costs).

If you’ve been paying close attention to the first part of volume one, you might have noticed that the name Ruth is mentioned on a few occasions. However, it’s very likely that Murray won’t make it to the end of this season alive. Would also kind of bring his arc to a natural close, starting off as the loner who wanted nothing to do with any of these people to dying to ensure their safety.” They also mentioned that there’s likely more to the school’s guidance counselor than meets the eye, which could also be a clue. I think there’s a big chance part of the final battle could be at the high school, since there’s been a bunch of set pics of army trucks outside of Hawkins High.” What I’m saying is that they fail on closing the gates between the Upside Down and the real world.” Confirming season 5 is the last season also reinforces this theory.” I’d bet that it’s not so much that the writers have forgotten about Will or don’t know what to do with him, but more that he’s integral to the larger plot/resolution. I bet we find out that Will is the most important character, and this makes his (actual) death necessary to save everyone and ‘stop’ the Upside once and for all.” LISTEN. You’re telling me Brenner just figured out how to create a bunch of telekinetic babies artificially and that quickly after studying One? This may be dark for Stranger Things, but what if he inseminated some women/test subjects (including El’s mother) with One’s…DNA? I just don’t see how floating around in a salt bath and taking psychedelics can give fetuses powers, like how they said El’s powers were possibly harnessed. He had the neck tingle and reactions to the creatures, but with El around, this is hardly useful. There’s something significant about him that caused that to be the case. This predicted act of saving Nancy will close out his storyline as a hero.”

Death is coming to Hawkins, but who is more likely to meet their end in the last two episodes of the fourth season? stranger-things-season-4 ...
Out of all the characters in the series, Steve is the most likely to sacrifice himself and not make it out alive of the Upside Down. The first volume indicated his fate pretty quickly, outlining Steve’s death at every turn. From his newfound – and returning – romantic interest in Nancy, his character growth throughout the seasons, and the wounds he sustained during his trip to the Upside Down, Steve is more likely not making it out alive. Still, meeting her end could be a way for the show to bring a lot of emotions as she has been the emotional core of many relationships in the series. He has been depicted as this guy who is afraid and runs away, so to have him sacrifice himself for his new friends, being the hero – something he doesn’t think he is – seems to be a fitting end for a character like him. With Max (Sadie Sink) still in danger and their relationship still on thin ice, Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) doesn’t seem very likely to die, more likely having to watch the person he cares about – even loves – die at the end of Vecna. The show made a point to show how Lucas wanted to be part of two worlds, and with him being so separate from his friends, it could be possible that he sacrifices himself or dies trying to protect everyone. With Joyce (Winona Ryder) in Russia and reuniting with Hopper (David Harbour) in the last moments of the first volume, it is more likely that Joyce will make it to Season 5. With her inquisitive mind, she has put together most of what the group knows about the Upside Down and Vecna, and now is the only one – alongside Eleven – that knows his true identity. The show doesn’t seem to know what to do with him, so saying that he could be a casualty unrelated to the upcoming confrontation with Vecna is very likely. Given the fact that he is so closely connected to Max and with his actions in the first volume, there is a point that could be made with having him die so that the others could survive, but more likely than none, Lucas will live past the show’s last two episodes and probably have to witness someone he loves die in front of him. It would be shocking if he makes it unscathed, a lot could go wrong in the last two episodes, but Will seems to be more of an endgame death than the penultimate season death. Mike (Finn Wolfhard) has been pretty disconnected from the main story this season, with him still having very little knowledge of what is happening in Hawkins and not even knowing anything about Vecna. His death would be one of the more surprising ones, especially since it is still unclear if the group looking for Eleven will make it to Hawkins in time for the final confrontation. With him being so far away from all the action of Hawkins alongside Mike, Argyle (Eduardo Franco), and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), there is little to point toward meeting his end by this season.
