Set to challenge the likes of Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and what feels like an endless number of streaming platforms out there, ...
Alongside a compelling narrative that blends horror and mystery together seamlessly, it's the performances that really help make this show what it is as the psychological elements of it all play pivotal with the timeline also picking up in 2021 with the survivors deal with the consequences of what happened. With an interesting plot, stunning international locations and epic stunts – including a helicopter chase that Cruise actually piloted – the action franchise continues to up the ante. Two sequels: Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two are now scheduled for 2023 and 2023, so there's nothing better to keep the hype going until then. Yellowjackets has rocketed out the gate to huge critical acclaim, as four teens involved in a place crash in 1996 descend into savagery. I was tempted to suggest the Halo TV series, one of Paramount Plus's biggest shows, however, I'd much rather recommend neo-Western drama, Yellowstone. Starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, whose family owns the largest contiguous ranch in the US, the series follows the trials and tribulations of bordering a national park, an Indian Reservation and developers. Of course, the big decision is what to watch first and whether what's on offer is worth the money.

Home of Champions League football (in USA) · 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos · Offline downloads · Star Trek originals and archive · Free for Sky customers on UK launch ...
I’d recommend saving up some content to watch and blitzing it in a month, rotating with the rest of your streaming services. Other than the live sports (much of which is available on broadcast CBS TV), there isn’t enough to justify an annual subscription. The original content lineup isn’t strong enough, and there are no franchises you need on tap all the time. Paramount Plus will launch in the UK on June 22 for £6.99/month and £69.90/year. Elsewhere, it’s an essential purchase for devoted Trekkies. The South Park specials are worth it, while Halo also has potential to join the pantheon of great sci-fi shows. The South Park archive, for example, lives on HBO Max, not Paramount Plus. The library is littered with such examples; Yellowstone is on Peacock. As existing content deals expire, we should see more of these shows return home. You also get the might of live Champions League and Europa League football, as Paramount also owns the CBS networks. The Halo TV show isn’t offered beyond HD, neither are the South Park Covid specials (not like you’re going to miss the difference there, though). One of the other key original properties is the Star Trek franchise. The audiovisual performance scales to the equipment you have, and you can’t alter the playback settings at an app level. The Paramount Plus interface is perhaps the least user-friendly of the major platforms. Paramount Plus will arrive in the UK on June 22, bringing exclusive access to the Halo original TV show in the process. Paramount Plus will forge its own path in the UK, but the US version feels essential only if you’re a football fan seeking access to the brilliantly produced Champions League football.

Chinatown, Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction… The Paramount Plus streaming service, which just hit UK shores, boasts a surprisingly stellar lineup of ...
It's all very minimalist, which presently feels like the confluence of design choice and a new product showing off its bare bones. The first highlights the platform's original and exclusive series, the preeminent of which being the divisive Halo adaptation (which UKers can finally watch — rule Britannia, etc.). Another highlights the Star Trek universe, others kid movies, blah-dy blah. There are many philosophical quibbles that jump to mind around Netflix, but its greatest curatorial drawback is its lack of movies made before the new millennium.
