Mack had previously played for England at Soccer Aid but switched his allegiances this time round. The singer, songwriter and presenter was born in Liverpool and played for the Merseyside club’s junior age groups as a 10-year-old. Soccer Aid star Chelcee Grimes sported a shirt with the 97 on the back as a tribute to Hillsborough victims in last night’s charity match at the London Stadium.
