Tom Hanks stars as Geppetto in the live-action remake of the 1940 Disney+ film "Pinocchio," with Robert Zemeckis directing.

Newcomer Gregory Mann is the titular “real boy” Pinocchio, with Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Christoph Waltz, and Tilda Swinton rounding out the ensemble cast. While a slew of writers and directors once attached to the project — including “Paddington” helmer Paul King — longtime Hanks collaborator Robert Zemeckis took over directing duties. Based on the 1883 Italian book by Carlo Collodi and 1940 Disney movie, the live-action “Pinocchio” has been in development since 2015.

Disney's latest live-action adaptation also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cynthia Erivo, Keegan Michael Key, and more.

The teaser also offers a tantalizing glimpse of Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy, granting wishes–and life–to the wooden puppet. The teaser does feature a good bit of action from Jiminy Cricket (voiced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who runs, jumps, slides, and umbrella-glides his way around town.

Tom Hanks reveals Queen Elizabeth's surprising 'cocktail of choice' (New York Post)

Tom Hanks recently claimed that Queen Elizabeth's favorite cocktail is not the oft-told legend of the Dubonnet cocktail but rather a simple martini.

He added that the queen’s taste for wine is not a nightly event. The spirit contains notes of hawthorn berries, lemon verbena, mulberry leaves and bay leaves and sells for $50 for a 24-ounce bottle. The palace’s exclusive dry gin is made with ingredients from the gardens of the queen’s London residence. “She had the one. I knew I was going to be sitting next to her so I wanted to be able to talk about things that were of import but not presumptuous. “I sat right next to the queen,” the Oscar winner said.
