This year’s Horizon Irish Open takes place the weekend leading into the pro-am at Adare Manor. McIlroy had already announced last week that he would be missing from this year’s Horizon Irish Open, using the week of the Irish Open in Kilkenny as a rest week ahead of the Pro-Am on 4-5 July before breaking again in time for the Open.
