A man in his 50s was arrested last evening, while the man in his 30s was arrested this morning. Two men continue to be held at Tralee and Killarney garda stations in connection to the incident. Gardaí are continuing to question two men in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man outside his home at the Abbey Court apartment complex in Tralee.

He was a local man from Tralee and came from a "well-respected and hard working family" who have suffered previous tragedy.

The older man was arrested and held for questioning in Tralee Garda Station on Sunday night while the younger man was arrested on Monday morning. The alarm was raised on Sunday night around 7pm when Mr Brosnan was found suffering from serious injuries at his flat. Two men, one in his 50’s and the other in his 30’s, have been arrested and are tonight being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
