Aston Villa: All signs point to Buendia exit after confirmed news ... (Football Insider)

Football Insider has been told by Noel Whelan that all signs are pointing to a potential Aston Villa exit for Emiliano Buendia this summer.

Aston Villa sit 13th in the Premier League after winning just two of their last top-flight meetings. Whelan suggested the Argentina international may not have the trust of the Villa boss. Aston Villa confirmed the signing of Coutinho on a permanent deal on Thursday (12 May).

The brilliant Jack Grealish story that will make every Aston Villa fan ... (Birmingham Live)

Here's a wonderful story involving Jack Grealish and his family's generosity towards 14-year-old Abbie Pinder from Sunderland.

They were just a couple of tokens of our appreciation to say how thankful and grateful we were to all of the Grealish family." Not only has that shared experience sealed a lasting respect between the families, it has given Abbie a major boost as she prepares for an operation ahead of her 15th birthday later this month. After the 4-1 win over Fulham, in which Grealish played 77 minutes, he got a message to the Pinders that he wanted to give Abbie another signed shirt. Grealish was an unused substitute that day, but his starring role arrived after the game when he joined his guests in his box. "We were invited to join Jack's family in his private executive box for the Brighton game. Dad and daughter positioned themselves near the team bus but were on the wrong side of it and only got to glimpse the back of Grealish's head as he made his way into the stadium. The family got to the home match against Fulham, and what would unfold on a freezing January afternoon in Manchester was to light up Abbie's life - her first meeting with Grealish. As the clip shows, Grealish makes a beeline for Abbie and takes time and care to autograph a Manchester City shirt with a personalised message, while Mum Zoe giggles excitedly and says 'She loves ya.' He might be English football's most expensive ever player at £100 million, but his meeting with Abbie is priceless, as is the beaming grin on her face as she comes to terms with what's just happened. But before we get to those, what brings a Sunderland-supporting Dad and his family to Manchester City in the first place? So much so that Graeme decided to get tickets for City's Premier League match against Chelsea at the Etihad in early January. He could be working in McDonald's rather than being one of the most well-known players in the world because he's that normal and approachable.

10 things we learned from Premier League action and Liverpool's ... (Daily Mail)

As Liverpool completed a domestic cup double by again seeing off Chelsea in a penalty shootout in the FA Cup final, there rivals Manchester City dropped points ...

However, West Ham were able to pick up a point, meaning there are now two points separating the sides. Not only as they would rather them win the title than Liverpool - who otherwise would match United on 20 titles - but also to help them in their push to qualify for the Europa League. Eddie Howe's side have lost just one Premier League game at their fabled ground in 2022 - to Jurgen Klopp's side - so it's likely to be a huge challenge for the Gunners to take all three points. If they fail to beat the Eagles, then they could be at real danger of the drop, as they face the trickiest fixture of any of the teams battling to avoid the drop on the final day of the season. Everton travel to an Arsenal side with Champions League hopes, Leeds are away to Brentford who have nothing to play for and Burnley host Newcastle who are in a similar position to the Bees. Leeds will have it all to do though if Burnley are able to jump ahead of them before the final game of the season. They spent £97.5million for him to be the man to win trophies for Chelsea, but in the FA Cup final he was an absentee. Liverpool don't have much time to rest as they now hope for a big swing in the race for the title If City are unable to beat Villa and Liverpool can win both of their final games, then Gerrard will have gifted the Premier League title to the club where is known as one of their greatest legends of all time. They will be a doubt for the game with Southampton but Jurgen Klopp will be hopeful they can still have some influence on the battle for the title. Liverpool also have the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 28 to look forward to, though their supporters will be hoping they're not put through the same stress as they were in the two cup finals against Chelsea. The Reds don't have much time to rest though as they look to go one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League when they face Southampton on Tuesday.

Manchester City star is set to be three points away from his first major honour and ironically faces his boyhood club on the last day of the season.

Luckily, we got the two goals and we could have gone on to win it, but it wasn’t meant to be. We dominated the game, dominated the ball. All we can do is go out there and try to get three points so we can get our hands on the trophy. It just shows the character that we have in the squad. “It is not about me [versus Villa] or the opposition, it is about the team and the club. We have to just try and get the three points on the last day.

'Desperate': Gary Neville reacts to Steven Gerrard possibly helping ... (HITC)

Gary Neville says Steven Gerrard will be 'desperate' to help Liverpool win the Premier League title when his Aston Villa side face Manchester City.

Whilst Manchester City were on the right side that afternoon, it might just prove to be different at the weekend. If they win that, then a point for Villa at the Etihad and three points for the Reds against Wolves will see the title head towards Merseyside. The football scripts are being written where Steven Gerrard could help Liverpool win the Premier League title by guiding his Aston Villa side to a result at Manchester City on the final day of the 2021/22 season.
