CORK have eased their relegation fears after stunning Waterford in the Munster hurling championship.Austin Gleeson saw red for the Deise as Liam Cahil.

Waterford's chances of a comeback were halted on 62 minutes when Gleeson was sent off for a second yellow card within the space of eight minutes. Alan Connolly's well crafted second goal in the second-half was the icing on the cake for Kieran Kingston's men after Connolly had opened their account in the first-half. Austin Gleeson saw red for the Deise as Liam Cahill's men's chances of making the provincial final took a massive hit.

Cork seek Munster win; Kilkenny win again in Leinster (Radio Kerry)

Cork are looking for their first win of this year's Munster Senior Hurling Championship.They face neighbours Waterford at Walsh Park at 2pm.

They travel to Pairc Tailteann to take on Meath looking for their 4th win of the campaign. Wexford's chances of reaching the Leinster final are out of their hands as they were pegged back by Westmeath to record a 2-15 to 21 point draw. Later, it's a battle of the top two as the defending champions Limerick travel to Ennis to take on Clare at 4pm.

Five minutes to be precise, separating him from any other senior inter-county hurler.

SKY SPORTS HAVE opted for Kilkenny against Wexford as their live game in the final round of the Leinster senior hurling championship next Saturday evening.

There is already live racing coverage from the Curragh pencilled in for RTÉ 1 next Sunday afternoon. The two games take place at 4pm with both now having something at stake following yesterday’s results. Clare meet Waterford and Tipperary host Cork with the third place up for grabs in the province.
