This year's Eurovision hosts were Mika, Alessandro Cattelan and Laura Pausini - but fans weren't impressed.

Eurovision viewer @tin10do tweeted: "The presenting so unfunny but I [love] MIKA." And Arjan @arjanwrites wrote: "The presenters are so cringe. Nice to see Mika though." But many tuning into Eurovision were unhappy with the choice of presenters, taking to Twitter to complain.

Eurovision 2022 host Mika isn't in this year's competition, but there are calls to give him 12 points after his savage performance.

The last time the UK won Eurovision was 25 years ago in 1997, with Katrina and the Waves. Mika was absolutely massive in the mid-2000โ€™s, and it seems his career is in for a comeback as he wowed fans with his performance at the grand final. Sam made the UK proud as he smashed his performance of Space Man, with the UKโ€™s chances of winning higher than they have been in recent memory.

His first single Relax, Take It Easy was released in 2006 but it was the release of Grace Kelly which gave him international fame. Born in 1983 in Lebanon Mika travelled a lot as a young child, his family eventually settled in London when he was nine. The UK's commentator Graham Norton was quick to correct Mika with Poland and clarified to viewers that Holland weren't participating in the competition this year.

EUROVISION 2022 viewers were left fuming after it appeared singer and host Mika was miming during his performance.

However, fans at home were less than impressed with the singer and quickly voiced their disapproval on Twitter. The star noted the irony of Eurovision being the biggest show for the nation and it was being broadcast in English. Speaking on The One Show recently, he explained how he had earned a place on the Eurovision hosting panel: "I learnt to speak Italian just because I got this opportunity to go and do The X Factor in Italy." He has served as a judge on The X Factor Italia and also a coach on The Voice France. Along with performing this evening, Mika served as one of the Eurovision hosts alongside Italian stars Alessandro Cattelan and Laura Pausini. While the votes were coming in for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Mika performed a medley of his greatest hits including Grace Kelly. The crowds in the Pala Olimpico in Turin were loving the performance as they danced and cheered along.
