Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control makes its debut on New Range Rover Sport and helps drivers navigate tricky terrain by maintaining steady progress according to the ground conditions. The Meridian Signature Sound System is the most advanced and powerful audio system ever fitted to a Range Rover Sport, with up to 29 speakers including four headrest speakers to create personal sound zones for the four main cabin occupants. Amazon Alexa2 brings a new level of convenience, providing the ability to control various settings and features using natural voice commands while reducing the potential for distraction. New Range Rover Sport is based on Land Rover's advanced, flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA-Flex), which provides the perfect foundations for its superior dynamics and peerless refinement. The 294m stretch of spillway had water furiously cascading down its 90-metre drop, to provide the ultimate test of traction and driver confidence. A loss of traction risked plunging down the perilous 90m drop at the base of the spillway to the valley floor below.

With mics in the wheel arches, there's a noise cancellation system to keep a sense of serenity on the interior - but you'll still hear the engine when you put your foot down. Of course the Range Rover Sport retains its off-road ability, now enhanced with all-wheel steering, while the new platform is 35 per cent stiffer than the one it replaces. Pipped only by the P530 V8 petrol model, there will be a P440e and P510e - the numbers here referring to the combined horsepower. The rear gets cleaned up too, from a design point of view, so it's a better-looking and more modern Sport you'll see racing off ahead of you. (Pocket-lint) - Land Rover has unveiled the latest Range Rover Sport in the family. The new Range Rover Sport will come in a range of powertrains and trims, with plenty of options, prices starting from £79,125 for the diesel SE, rising to £83,330 for the PHEV SE.

2023 Range Rover Sport – minimalist design, MHEV I6 and BMW ... (Paul Tan's Automotive News)

The main draw of the RRS has always been its looks, and Land Rover's latest reductive design language gives the car a smoother and more minimalist aesthetic, ...

He therefore appreciates the aesthetic appeal of a car, but for him, the driving experience is still second to none. As per the Range Rover, the Sport is powered by a new range of mostly electrified engines, centred around 3.0 litre turbocharged Ingenium straight-six. To that end, it comes as standard with intelligent all-wheel drive and the company’s trademark Terrain Response 2 system, which can automatically adjust various parameters to suit the conditions. Alternatively, the Sport is available with a BMW-sourced 4.4 litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 530 PS and getting the car from zero to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. Elsewhere, the car receives Ultrafabrics leather-free upholstery options as an alternative to the usual leathers, along with available two-tone colourways and Moonlight Chrome accents. Dynamic Air Suspension with adaptive Bilstein dampers comes as standard and uses eHorizon navigation data to adjust itself to suit upcoming bends.

All-New 2023 Range Rover Sport PHEV Debuts, EV Coming In Two ... (InsideEVs)

2024 is also the year when the pure-electric version of the big Range Rover is also expected to debut.

It apparently can emit as little as 18 g/km of CO if you are diligent with charging. We currently have no information about their specs, though, as nothing official has yet been announced, but both larger Range Rover EV variants will be built on the same MLA Flex platform (short for Modular Longitudinal Architecture) that supports all types of powertrains. Land Rover has just revealed an all-new, third-generation Range Rover Sport, and as is the trend nowadays in the industry, it comes with a plethora of electrified powertrains, although you can still get it with a non-electrified twin-turbo V8. It will be available as a plug-in hybrid from launch too, but two years from now a fully-electric variant of the Sport will be added to the range.
