Equal play: Lions' teams on level playing field in news $80m home (AFL)

Brisbane's men's and women's teams will have the same facilities at the club's new training base in Springfield.

They have just launched a 'Lions Legacy Project' to allow members and supporters to donate money in exchange for having their name on the fence, a seat or locker in the changeroom. Both the men's and women's teams will often train at either Yeronga or Hickey Park, lift weights at the Gabba and do water recovery sessions elsewhere. The entire Lions staff, including both their men's and women's teams, will move to the new home 30 minutes west of the Gabba.

Champions Cup: Alex Sanderson believes English teams are ... (planetrugby.com)

Sale Sharks director of rugby Alex Sanderson believes that the reduction in salary cap is hampering the Premiership sides in the Champions Cup.

“They beat us just after the Six Nations 19-0 so we know how tough it is going to be next week. “You can make up the gap in the salary cap through really good coaching, decent infrastructure, and culture as well. “There’s been a difference in the salary cap forever between the French and English clubs. “It wasn’t for a lack of effort. “We got a good win against Sale, and we are looking forward to the semi-final. You don’t win quarter-finals by shipping 40 points.

NFL team needs: What holes remain for all 32 teams after the draft? (The Athletic)

This offseason's primary player acquisition window has closed, but teams will keep tweaking their rosters before training camp.

On the Commanders’ defense, 10 of the 11 starting spots seem set, but the missing piece is a linebacker in base packages and another defensive back in sub packages, which is their predominant scheme. It’s a lot to expect 2021 third-round pick Aaron Robinson, who was drafted to play in the slot, to take over outside in the man-heavy scheme the Giants are planning to play. In a draft filled with high-rated edge rushers, it’s surprising that the Vikings didn’t pick one with any of their four selections in the first two days of the draft. Alex Singleton, signed to a one-year, low-cost deal after leading the Eagles in tackles the past two seasons, is the frontrunner to take the other spot as the roster stands now, but Denver could use a little more depth and experience at the position. That’s something the Packers lacked after Tonyan’s injury, and something they need to have in their offense in 2022, especially after the departures of Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the wide receivers room. That could open the door for Connor McGovern to start at left guard, or Dallas might be forced to sign or trade for a veteran at the position. The Broncos will probably be open to adding a veteran inside linebacker if one becomes a cap casualty at some point in the offseason. The Browns are likely to add at least one more veteran defensive lineman and one more veteran wide receiver, and even if Clowney lands elsewhere, it’s fair to say the team’s biggest need is on the defensive front. They’ve targeted a couple of receivers/returners with their undrafted free agent signings, but they will look at the veteran free agent market as well. Cornerback was a need for the Cardinals heading into the draft, and they came out of it still lacking depth and experience at the position. The Bengals went into the draft intent on adding a receiver, ideally one with punt return ability, but they traded away a pair of picks to move up in both the second and fifth rounds, leaving their most top-heavy position group lacking in depth. The Bills have three good starters in center Mitch Morse, left guard Rodger Saffold and right guard Ryan Bates. After that, their interior offensive line depth is a huge question mark and could be troubling if any of their starters have to miss time.

What Happened To Other Teams That Traded Within Their Division? (Zone Coverage)

When the Minnesota Vikings traded down in the first round of the 2022 draft, it sent fans through a gauntlet of emotions. Trading down from the.

If Williams and Watson are routinely running past Cine and Booth, it will be a deal that could define Adofo-Mensah’s tenure with the Vikings. If both teams are happy with the players they received, it could be a wash. The Eagles used the 10th-overall selection to draft DeVonta Smith, while Dallas used pick 12 on Micah Parsons and the third-round pick on Chauncey Golston. The Cowboys used that pick to select Demarcus Lawrence while the Commanders settled for Trent Murphy and Spencer Long. It may be a coincidence, but no intradivisional trades were made on the first or second day of the draft from 2016 to 2018. The Vikings used one of those picks to trade up for Andrew Booth Jr. and used the other to select Ed Ingram. In 2015, the Washington Commanders traded the 34th-overall pick to the Dallas Cowboys for picks 47 and 78.

"Every county in the Tailteann Cup is there for a reason, we’re Division 3 and 4 teams. "There was a good bit of promotion from the GAA recently though. Fifteen teams are already in the hat, and Westmeath and Tipperary will join them if they lose to Kildare and Limerick respectively this weekend. How the Tailteann Cup teams view that particular picture remains to be seen, but up to 17 teams are expected to be in Monday’s draw. Sixteen teams reduced to 15 after one preliminary round. That opened the door for Wexford to enter, but they also opted to give it a pass to deal with their own club congestion. "Our players are firmly focused on getting a result. If the American outfit are drawn away to London, the fixture-setters have said they will assess the situation.
