In addition to the aggravated assault charge, Ms. Bey faces a count of reckless endangerment. She told police that the victim and an unknown female came to Ms. Bey’s apartment to get the victim’s boyfriend. After they were separated the victim left the apartment and was standing on the front porch. Anyone with information is asked to call the county police tip line at 833-ALL-TIPS (833-255-8477); Callers can remain anonymous. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken from the housing complex in the 200 block of Locust Street to a hospital via ambulance. The unknown female and Ms. Bey got into an altercation and and it was after they were separated that Ms. Bey shot the victim, police reports said.
