Taylor Swift will hold a screening of 'All Too Well: The Short Film' at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festi, followed by a talk about her process.

Red (Taylor’s Version) also peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Following the release of All Too Well: The Short Film, the track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it her eighth total tally on the chart upon its release in November 2021. On Monday (May 2), organizers announced that the 11-time Grammy winner is set for a special screening of the short film for her Red (Taylor’s Version) track “All Too Well” — which she directed, wrote, produced and starred in — at the esteemed festival.

Single-day passes for the festival are now on sale at the Tribeca Film website. Both versions of the song contributed to it debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Swift's eighth No. 1 hit. Taylor Swift will appear at this year's Tribeca Festival now that she has added filmmaker to her impressive resume.

On Monday, the Tribeca Film Festival unveiled the lineup for its 2022 Talks and Reunions series, which will see Taylor Swift screen 'All Too Well: The Short ...

This was a song that started out as a song on the album, just a simple track 5. "You guys are so amazing about a very hard thing I went through. Shot by cinematographer Rina Yang, the film follows the story told by the song's vivid lyrics, with its co-leads taking a trip upstate that begins romantic and ends in a breakup. "A record label didn't pick this song as a single. Written and directed by the musician, who also appears in the clip, All Too Well: The Short Film stars Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink and Teen Wolf alum Dylan O'Brien as a young Swift and her ex-lover — long rumored to be Jake Gyllenhaal — respectively. "We are excited to present a compelling slate of Talks, Reunions, and Master Classes from leading storytellers across film, television, music, art, and comedy," said Paula Weinstein, Tribeca's Chief Content Officer, in a press statement.

Elsewhere, Pharrell will discuss his career at the Borough of Manhattan Community College on June 10, while Common will take part in a conversation with journalist Charles Blow. The rapper is also set to receive the festival’s second annual Harry Belafonte Voices for Social Justice Award and will be presented with the trophy by Robert De Niro. Last year, the pop star released the 15-minute film to accompany the release of ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)’, which featured on the re-recorded version of her 2012 album ‘Red’.

Rounding out the fest is a series of free master classes from veterans in the filmmaking industry. Headlining the talks segment of the Tribeca Festival are Grammy winners Taylor Swift and Pharrell Williams, and NBC Late Night host Seth Myers talking with SNL's Aidy Bryant. Swift will be giving a special screening of her short film "All Too Well: The Short Film" before setting up her panel to discuss her work. Cast reunions, master classes, and conversations with some of the biggest names out there are all staples of the fest, and this year features some massive names coming in to share their perspectives.

Taylor Swift, who made her directorial debut with the short film 'All Too Well,' will be among the speakers at the 2022 Tribeca Festival.

Swift, meanwhile, will continue to cross further into the film sphere this year with a role in David O. Russell’s forthcoming feature, Amsterdam. Described as a 1930s crime epic, the film hits theaters on November 4. The annual New York film festival will run from June 8-19, with Swift’s discussion taking place on June 11 at the Beacon Theatre. This year, there are also a number of other musicians crossing over into the multimedia festival’s Talks And Reunions category. Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy-winning rapper and actor, Common, will not only be speaking at the event, but will also be presented with the second annual Harry Belafonte Voices for Social Justice Award.
