Jayne Forshaw feared her mum Kathleen Jennings was 'on the verge of a heart attack' after the alleged incident.
Jayne added: "I’ve insisted with her social worker that she must not go back to the home. There have been times when she has rang the bell and nobody has come - and on this occasion it wasn’t until the police came that they saw what was going on." Jayne says her mum was put in the back of a taxi and sent to Leighton Hospital, in Crewe, alone. Cheshire Police said they were called to the home at 8.43am on April 25. "It’s imperative that she does not go back to that home. "The lady rang her bell but nobody came when there was someone at the top of the landing terrifying my mum. "They ran towards her so my mum pressed the alarm bell to contact staff - and nobody came. After that my mum called the police and they came immediately. "They then grabbed her walker and threw it down the corridor. When nobody came to her aid she called the police and text her daughter Jayne, StokeOnTrentLive reports. Jayne said: "When I woke up I saw messages from my mum and the text said 'I’ve been attacked, please help me Jayne. Get the police'. She was hysterical and couldn’t breathe properly.
