Cork v Clare: Kieran Kingston makes three changes for vital clash in ... (Echo Live)

CORK have made three changes to the team that lost to Limerick for Sunday's Munster Hurling Championship joust with Clare in Semple Stadium on Sunday, 2pm.

Brian Lohan and his selectors have opted for the same line-up from the impressive win over Tipperary in Thurles last weekend. In come Robert Downey, Seamus Harnedy and Jack O'Connor for the injured Damien Cahalane, Conor Cahalane and Conor Lehane respectively. Of course, despite those nominal alterations, Coleman could still man the centre of defence come throw-in.

Anthony Daly questions if 'excuse culture' is present in Cork camp (Pundit Arena)

Anthony Daly has questioned if an "excuse culture" is present in the Cork camp amid rumours of player unhappiness.

If Clareโ€™s work-rate and intensity is higher than last week, I fancy our forwards to put up a big score on their defence.โ€ However, if Cork lose, their hopes of making the Munster final would be all but over, while coming third in the table and qualifying for the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals would also look unlikely. Should Cork beat Clare at Semple Stadium, they will be right back in contention for making the Munster final with games against Waterford and Tipperary to come.
