AJ Odudu will be the United Kingdom’s spokesperson, delivering the all-important results live from Salford for the first time. Turin, I can’t wait to be there! Laura Busson, Radio 2 Commissioning Executive, said: “As the radio home of Eurovision in the UK, BBC Radio 2 has a schedule packed with Eurovision delights with programmes across the network and on BBC Sounds building up the excitement alongside our listeners as we head towards the Grand Final. And Ken Bruce is master of all the proceedings on the night, live from Turin.” To kick off the Eurovision weekend on Radio 2, the Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball will be in London and Richie Anderson in Turin. Richie will be on the streets of this year’s host city, meeting Eurovision superfans from all over Europe. BBC Radio 2 is the home of Eurovision 2022 on UK radio as shows across the station will be building up to the live Eurovision Grand Final hosted by Ken Bruce.

Radio 2 is marking Eurovision 2022 with a new special, Eurovision: The Official All-Time Most Streamed, which launches today on BBC Sounds.

Laura Busson, Commissioning Executive at Radio 2, said: “Eurovision is loved by the Radio 2 audience, so I’m delighted that as a part of the network’s Eurovision Super Saturday, Michelle Visage will be counting down the most streamed Eurovision tracks of all time.

First up was Albania’s Ronela Hajati with “Sekret”. Did she live up to the hype? Ronela told wiwibloggs one of the main themes of her performance is celebrating gay rights. Wearing a sparkly bikini, black bottoms and large black tulle sleeves, Ronela is commanding the stage, with four bare-chested male dancers and a female gymnast by her side.
